Furniture Sales decrease in Ireland

Irish furniture volume and value of retail sales fell according to the most recent Retail Sales Index June 2010. Figures released by the Central Statistics Office for Ireland show that volume and value of retail sales both decreased by 9.7% and 8.9% respectively in June. However, the volume of sales has increased by 4.4% since June 2009, whilst the value of sales has decreased by 2.7% since June 2009.
